This is a list of a few things every athlete, bboy, and dancer should consider adding to their diet.
As always, consult your doctor and do your own research before trying anything. This is merely a guide to show you what other professional athletes and dancers are doing across the globe.

Glucosamine Sulfate
Glucosamine:
Has been reported as the most commonly used non-vitamin, non-mineral, natural product by adults in USA because it can prevent cartilage degeneration and is used to treat arthritis because glygosaminoglycans are a major component of joint cartilage.

olive_oil
Olive oil:
Is known to help lubricate joints. Now don’t go out and start drinking olive oil, but when you have the choice to cook with butter or oil, choose olive oil.

avocado
Avocadoes:
Are also said to help lubricate joints. But they are also very fatty so don’t eat to many or you’ll get fat.

Water:
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink lots of water. Stay away from soft drinks and sodas.

Omega-3’s:
Are natural anti-inflammatories, which will help reduce swelling if you joints are doing so.

Monavie:
This Acai-berry drink from Monavie has shown great promise and is one of the few natural supplements that is well worth the money. Many athletes are getting into this and for a good reason. They have good a product and have set up a way for athletes to get them free or even make money if they choose to do so.
